Upper Body Workout

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day 😍

We forgot to book anywhere to eat and wanted to grab something before we went to a church activity and so we ended up eating at KFC because everywhere was full πŸ˜©πŸ—πŸŸ

Anyhoo, as I said on my instagram post yesterday (@charlottewilkey) I am mixing my workouts up for 2 weeks! I am doing 2 days HIIT workouts with a little abs at the end, and then the third day doing upper body/lower body. I feel like this will help me to really get the lean look I’m going for and I will compare the progress made at the end!

Today I worked upper body at Adrenaline, Haslingden, I haven’t ever worked just upper body/lower body before, it was so good. I really pushed myself on each of the excersises I did and really felt it afterwards!

Here are the exercises I did… let me know how you get on!

Side note: one of the things I love the most about our new gym is the fact that there is a ladies only section, it can sometimes be quite daunting to go into the main gym which is usually quite busy especially trying to get pictures in there, having a ladies gym makes a huge difference, I don’t workout the whole time in there but I actually feel more relaxed when I am in there!

Upper Body Workout (Back, Biceps, Triceps, Chest)

*Rope Pull on Cable Machine*

(Works the upper back, I did 5 sets 1st Set was of 12 reps and then I increase the weights as I go along the sets, finishing with a drop set of 15 reps of a lighter weight)

*Bicep Curl*

(5 sets x 12 Reps again, increasing the weights as I went along)

*Chest Press*

(5 sets x 12 Reps again, increasing the weights as I went along)

*Shoulder Press*

(5 sets x 12 Reps again, increasing the weights as I went along)

*Lat Pull down*

(Works upper back, 5 sets x 12 Reps again, increasing the weights as I went along)

I didn’t get a picture of my Tricep workout 😩 but the one I did this morning was Tricep Kickbacks using a bench and a dumbbell, If you want to know more just comment, or contact me via Instagram πŸ€—
